Elliot at 11 Months:
Still with the two teeth.
Back to 12 hour sleeping marathons at night AND one giant nap most days instead of two. Woot.
Food is the bomb. So is drinking out of a straw.
Standing solo forever & even taking a few steps when she feels like it. Oh, and dancing. All. the. time.
Talking is happening, for real, you guys...
Words & (phrases!) include: "Mama" "Dada" "Hi, kitty, kitty!" "Hi, Lola" "Hey" and possibly "Wawa" (for water) "Okay" "Auntie" & B. swears "Squirrel"
Likes: dancing, humming, drumming, being chased around while squealing with delight, playing the "I've got my sleep sack!" game (where she sees her sleep sack across the room, grabs it, squeals, sucks her thumb and then pretends to sleep on the floor or run away and play "keep away" with it), swinging on her new backyard tree swing (thanks, Grandpa Curtis!), throwing food & utensils on the floor at mealtimes & otherwise being generally loving & sweet & dear all the time.
Dislikes: still not a fan of baby prison, fevers & toys designed to be toys for babies, but honestly, this girl is so good natured I'm running out of funny stuff to say she doesn't like... <3
