Elliot Sabine: 5 Months Old

Elliot at 5 Months:

Still teething like a [toothless] wild animal.

Still sleeping like a champ [most] nights & also finding her daytime napping groove.

Now comes with full 360 degree rolling action.

Babbling sounds distinctly reminiscent of the words "Mama," "Dada," "Bob," "Bobo," "Hey," "Salad," & "Olive."

Lighting up our lives with belly laughs & dimple smiles all day long.

Seeing, grabbing & putting all of the things in her mouth.

Working on sitting up through daily yoga & balancing practice.

Likes: sucking on her right toe, things that are ice cold, being where the action is (even if it means missing a nap or a meal), sleepytime snuggling, listening to 50s rockabilly & 60s jazz & soul, reading The Wind in the Willows, socializing at parties (even past her bedtime), babbling for everyone (not just Mom & Dad), taking a bath in the big tub, sleeping on her stomach, various forms of peekaboo & fooling strangers into thinking she is a living doll just by wearing winter attire.

Dislikes: staying still for diaper changes, putting her arms through sleeves, laughing at the same bit twice (keep the comedy around here fresh, okay, folks?!), not being able to get something in her mouth & finding out her favorite Boardwalk Empire character is no more.
